Battersea is a district in south London located near the river Thames opposite Chelsea.  Battersea is most famous for its now derelict power station, due to be redeveloped in 2020, and Battersea Park, one of the largest and finest parks in London. Battersea has seen a great deal of urban regeneration in recent years with the opening of trendy bars, restaurants and new property developments, making this a popular area for young professionals.
